My roots are in South Tyneside, and this is one of a series of images taken on the coast at Marsden.
A fraction of a second before or after this shot was taken, and the stunning light 'star' formed by the sunrise shining through the aperture in the rock would have been missed.
Perhaps it was my lucky day!
