January is always a good month for photography, the sun is low in the sky and not too harsh, it also rises at a respectable time.
This was a cold morning the wind blowing straight off the sea, and I hope that the blue tones convey that cold to you.
The rocks are just below the surface of the water at low tide and you can see the outline of them snaking out to sea and below the waves.
This was a 55 second exposure to smooth out the sea, and emphasise the areas where the waves were crashing into the shore, showing up as white and not blue
