Shadows
There is something very special about 'untouched' snow, it has the promise of a blank canvas, waiting to filled with with colour and detail.
In this image, the shadows of the trees have filled the canvas of snow with a myriad of shapes and detail in tones of silver, violet, indigo and blue.
