Promise
A field of photogenic purple flowers spotted from a distant road, lured me to the area where this tree is sited. The flowers were somewhat disappointing, but the adjacent field held the subject of this image, the 'promise tree'. She wasn't always so named, but I have visited and revisted this tree many times, since this original shoot. I believe it was my destiny to find her. She stands solid, strong and lasting. She represents the qualities of a vow, an oath, a promise.
