I love black and white images, and the only thing I like more is an infra red black and white image. Infra red changes the ordinary into the extra ordinary.

This is a lane in Cramlington near where I live, it was taken just after the leaves had began to show, and because of the nature of infra red they show up as almost white, against the sky which is so black..

Ecologically this is a great place, old, well established hedgerows, giving shelter to so many birds, mammals and insects - its a lovely place to walk.
