One of the most important things that we wanted to do in Iceland was to go whale watching. Husavik is the whale watching capital of the north. It was about 4pm when we arrived in Husavik, and we couldn't decide if we should go on the tour that night or if we should wait till the morning.
When we got to the booking office they told us that there were spaces available on the 5pm sailing - we decided to go for it.
Our boat was the second of the two boats in this image, and old traditionally built wooden fishing boat.
Did we see a whale ...........well you will just have to wait and see.
